Membership

​UURM is a registered non-profit organization (eingetragener Verein, e.V.) in Germany, and is governed by its own set of bylaws.

All are welcome to become members of UURM. Members are invited to the Annual General Meeting (usually held in May), and hold voting rights when electing members of the Executive Board, and when making major financial and other decisions affecting the fellowship.

Membership dues are voluntary. They provide the sole source for financing our rent, service & social hour expenses, technical, and bank fees, and other costs necessary to maintain our organization. In recent years, the suggested level for individual dues has been 10 € / month (120 € / year), but members are free to pay a higher or lower amount as they see fit.

UURM is entirely lay-led. As they are able, members and friends of the community are encouraged to volunteer their time and talent to fill the numerous jobs necessary to keep our group running.
